(Update 2/19/15: Links to the webinar recordings can now be found on my resources page)
I’m thrilled to be doing another 2-part webcast series on how to design and deliver effective virtual training!
Part 1 begins on Thursday, February 5, with “Designing Interactive Live Online Training.” I’ll review 5 key techniques for creating interactive and engaging virtual training, and share my 3-step design process. You’ll get ideas for how to promote interactivity both before and during a session.
Part 2 takes place on Thursday, February 12, focused on “Delivering Effective Live Online Training.” In this session, I’ll offer 5 tips for facilitating fantastic virtual training sessions – the kind of online classes that learners actually enjoy! We’ll focus on how to engage with attendees and encourage participation.
Note that you do *not* need to attend Part 1 in order to attend Part 2, and vice versa. Attend either one (or both!) as your schedule allows.
Also, note that these free sessions are made possible by the sponsors Citrix GoToTraining and Training Magazine Network. (A big thank you to both of them!). The sessions can accommodate only the first 1000 people to sign in, however, the hosts will record each session and share the link with all registrants. I’ll also post the recording links here on my site as soon as they are available.
Register for the sessions here. And be sure let me know in the comments below if you’re coming, and what information you most want to hear!
Thanks Cindy. This sounds great, so I’ve registered.
I really like that you mention interacting even before the webinar. To me, webinars often include too much interaction that’s of low value, so doing some of it beforehand instead makes the most of people’s time.
I wrote about webinar polling questions and it stimulated quite a lot of discussion, including from Ken Molay and Roger Courville, so I’d be interested to hear your perspective too.
Cindy – I attended part two of your Design and Deliver Effective online training webinar a few months ago. I am trying to download the reply and it’s not working. I click on the archive button but it doesn’t work. Can you send me a different link than the one at http://lp.gototraining.com/020515-021215-NA-G2T-Huggett-WBRARC-S
Thank you much
Michelle
Michelle – I’m so sorry there’s trouble with the link! The vendor may have moved the recordings… I’ll find out and fix. So sorry for the inconvenience! And thanks for letting me know! ~ Cindy
